While our firm is widely known for our expertise in church design and construction, we bring that same level of care and design excellence to a wide range of project types — including Senior Care.. We were excited and grateful for The Bradford project in Kingwood, an exclusive suburban Houston community. The owners had extensive experience in Senior Care, Assisted Living, and Memory Care facilities. They wanted “…an elegant, drive-up image,” and a “wow factor interior.” As a reference project, they liked The Gaylord Texan, a high-end resort & convention center in the DFW Metroplex.  

Senior Care regulatory compliance with the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is among the most onerous. However, our design compliance acumen is well-suited for these projects, with proven success in demanding regulatory environments like Miami-Dade, Austin, and New Orleans.

Our design of almost 42,000 sf included requested luxurious amenities like a Salon, Internet Café, Theater, Spa, Massage, Bistro, Library, Chapel in addition to a cutting edge commercial kitchen, dining rooms, resident rooms for Assisted Living (40) and Memory Care (20), exam rooms, nursing stations, etc. The outdoor space included landscaped courtyards, walking paths, gazebos, and sitting areas.

From the first impression to the warmth of its interior, this design is extraordinary among typical senior care facilities. And that’s by design.
