Bethel Church is south of Temple, Texas, and the campus is growing!
Adjacent to their existing facility, the church wanted a new building that would include: Sanctuary, Offices, Foyer, and Restrooms, among other functions like a Green Room at the back of house. The old sanctuary, offices, and other spaces would be remodeled to support the new building functions.
Consistent with the church’s character, the priority of the church was to provide functional space with an attractive image, so that visitors would be “… impressed by the beauty but comforted by the warmth,“ Pastor’s wife. They definitely did not want the new building to look “too churchy,” and they wanted to appeal to families.
Obviously, the new space design and master plan include and accomplish these goals, and that’s because we went through a number of design iterations without compromise. Some of those iterations are seen here for their architectural content. We were committed because we know the best design is the one that represents the true church identity. We’re grateful for this church, one of our strongest references.
