West Augusta Baptist Church emerged as a faithful offshoot of its home congregation—planted in a part of town where ministry was greatly needed. With an extraordinary pastor at the helm, the church secured new property and launched a vision for both a building and a long-term Master Plan.

The Building Program was a Sanctuary for a congregation of 417, Classrooms, Administration, Nursery, Junior Church, Fellowship Hall, and Kitchen. The exterior was to address the high-end residential context of its new location, but also project the image of a loving church.

The confidence of the church and its leaders was inspiring. The design was received by “everybody jumping up and down.”  As Construction Manager, we were able to avert unnecessary change orders, avoid surprise problems, and protect the stipulated budget. That’s why we also love the opportunity of Construction Manager, because it enables us to protect, preserve, and deliver.
