Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is another project with a sentimental component. People constitute the character and personality of any church, and this church is beautiful. Like most church projects, this one began with size 12 needs and a size 9 budget. So, working with positive people, we designed a positive solution incorporating several creative applications of multi-purpose space. Every project has a multi-purpose space, and I believe this one may be the most prodigious.

The Building Program is a Sanctuary with over 800 seats, Choir Loft, Baptistry, Nursery, Administration, Kitchen, Fellowship Hall, and 18 Classrooms. The total building area is 16,165 sf, not including the Covered Drive-Thru. Without the use of multi-purpose space and design, the total building area would have been 35-45% larger and more expensive. The building has been well-loved and well-maintained.

The church has excellent property in an excellent location. With its dynamic Pastor and church leaders, the church continues to grow dramatically, and future expansion seems inevitable. At that point, it will be incumbent on any building addition to bolster the existing facilities in continuing to serve and represent the heart of this church body.
